Sky Delivery Hose Coupling
Description
SKY Fire Cabinets are designed to store Fire Hose Reels and firefighting equipment. Made primarily from carbon steel, stainless steel options are available upon request. Each cabinet is carefully crafted, from material preparation to fabrication and surface coating. Carbon steel cabinets feature a durable oven-baked "Red" epoxy/polyester powder coating, while stainless steel cabinets (Type 304 or 316) are available in brushed or mirror finishes.
- SKY couplings are designed for use with delivery hoses and for firefighting purposes. The delivery hose couplings are of the pull-release type with ribbed tails and are manufactured to comply with BS 336 standards. They are suitable for use at working pressures up to 15 bar:
- Depending on the customer’s needs, these couplings are available in various sizes to fit all hose sizes and are made from different materials such as aluminum, brass, and bronze.:
- > BSI Kitemark.
- > Castings are clean, sound and free from gross porosity.
- > Coupling washers are made of natural rubber to BS 1154.
- > Plungers are of self-locking type.

- > Expansion rings made from seamless soft anneal brass tubing, for maximum expansion without danger of breaking.
- > Permanent roll stamp.
- > Lathe cut synthetic, or EPDM gaskets included with each coupling.
- > Working pressure of 20bar.
- > Connections and Dimensions conforms to BS336.
